Specify the alignment or the space distribution between objects when multiple objects are selected.
Align Objects
To align selected objects to right, left, top, bottom, or center, do the following:
- Select multiple objects that you want to align.
- Do one of the following on the Size and Properties tab of the Multiple Objects task pane.
- To vertically align the selected objects relative to the leftmost object, click the Align Left
icon under Alignment > Alignment.
- To vertically align the selected objects relative to the center object, click the Align Center
icon under Alignment > Alignment.
- To vertically align the selected objects relative to the rightmost object, click the Align Right
icon under Alignment > Alignment.
- To horizontally align the selected objects relative to the topmost object, click the Align Top
icon under Alignment > Alignment.
- To horizontally align the selected objects relative to the center object, click the Align Middle
icon under Alignment > Alignment.
- To horizontally align the selected objects relative to the bottommost object, click the Align Bottom
icon under Alignment > Alignment.
- To horizontally and equally distribute all objects by moving the rest of objects relative to the leftmost and rightmost objects, click the Distribute Horizontally
icon under Alignment > Distribute.
- To vertically and equally distribute all objects by moving the rest of objects relative to the topmost and bottommost objects, click the Distribute Vertically
icon under Alignment > Distribute.
- To vertically align the selected objects relative to the leftmost object, click the Align Left

Task pane configuration may vary depending on the number of objects you select
Depending on the number of objects you select, the task pane or configuration of it may vary. For example, if you select one shape object, the Text Box and Shape task pane appears. If you select multiple shape objects, the Multiple Objects task pane appears.
