Hyperlinks are used to link between separate documents to direct readers from the current page to another or to open a new browser window to view a document. Hyperlinks can be inserted within the texts and will lead the readers to specific destinations.
Hyperlink to web address
- Select the text to be hyperlinked as a block.
- Click Insert-Hyperlink.
- Select Web Address on the Link To area of the Hyperlink dialog box.
- Enter a URL in the input field and then click OK.
Hyperlink to email address
- Select the text to be hyperlinked as a block.
- Click Insert-Hyperlink.
- Select E-mail Address on the Link To area of the Hyperlink dialog box.
- Enter an e-mail address in the input field and then click OK.
Open hyperlink
- Hover your mouse cursor over the text or object where you inserted the hyperlink.
- Hold the CTRL key and click the left mouse button.
Or right-click the text or object and click Open Hyperlink from the context menu to open it directly.
Modify hyperlink
- Select the text or object where you inserted the hyperlink.
- Click Insert-Hyperlink.
Or right-click the text or object and click Modify Hyperlink from the context menu. - Modify Link To and the input field of the Hyperlink diaglog box as desired, and then click OK.
Delete hyperlink
- Right-click the text or object where you inserted the hyperlink.
- Click Delete Hyperlink from the context menu.

Text to Display
Type the text address to which you want to link as a hyperlink.
If you select text as a block in a document and then add a hyperlink, the selected text is automatically entered and you can edit it if necessary.
Link Target
Specify the document type that you want to hyperlink to link as a hyperlink.
- Web Address: Type the web page to which you want to link as a hyperlink.
- E-mail Address: Type the e-mail address to which you want to link as a hyperlink.
OK Button
Link the set target as a hyperlink.
