| Text Box | Insert a text box. | |
| Web Video | Use the video address or source code on the Internet to connect to play directly from the current document. | |
| Comment | Insert a comment. | |
| Hyperlink | Link a web page or e-mail address to a specific location in the document. | |
| Symbol | Enter symbols or characters that are difficult to type with the keyboard. | |
| Header/Footer | Set header or footer (date/time, slide number, footer text) to display at the top or bottom of pages. | |
| Date/Time | Insert the current date or time in a document. | |
| Slide Number | Open the Header/Footer dialog box to insert a slide number. | |
| Layout | In the Layout dialog box, select a listed layout to change. | |
| Start Slide Show | Start a slide show from the beginning. | |
| Slide Show from Current Slide | Start a slide show from the current slide. | |
| Preview transition effect | Preview the transitions that you applied to a slide by playing it. | |
| Transition | Select to apply a transition effect from the list. | |
| Effect Options | Set the behavior of the transition effect applied to the slide. | |
